Two holiday recalls: pre-cut vegetables, chocolate milk

Hy-vee Inc., including stores in Wisconsin, is voluntarily recalling two of its Hy-Vee “Short Cuts” vegetable mix products after tests showed possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Especially with holiday meal preparation this week, there is concern that consumers may have packages of the pre-cut fresh vegetable products in their homes. Both of the implicated products have a “Best if Used By” date through Dec. 3, 2020. More…

Livestock Lessons – Round 2

University of Wisconsin-Madison – Wisconsin Youth Livestock – Division of Extension – Livestock Lessons – Round 2 Youth sought to showcase their ‘Livestock Lessons’.  Great news!  We are releasing the next round of Livestock Lessons ending on March 5, 2021.  The potential topics for your lessons are endless!  We would love for you to submit your 4-H demonstrations, FFA public speaking entries, any videos, and written work that aligns with the work your already doing.
