About This Project
The Waupaca County Volunteer Survey is an effort to understand who is volunteering in our area and who may be missing. UW-Madison Extension Waupaca County, the Volunteer Waupaca Taskforce, and Volunteer Fox Cities are working together to explore what motivates volunteers, what gets in the way, and where gaps exist. The findings will help local organizations recruit more effectively and make volunteering more accessible.

Are you an adult (18+) who volunteers in Waupaca County? We’d love to hear from you.
This short, confidential survey asks about your volunteer experience, what motivates you, what gets in the way, and how supported you feel. It takes about 12–15 minutes, and your responses will not affect any current or future volunteer roles.
As a thank you, survey completers can enter into a drawing for a gift card at the end of the survey.

FAQ
For Volunteers
Is it confidential?
Yes. Your responses are confidential and will never be linked back to you. The survey does not ask for your name or contact information. We ask you which organization(s) you volunteer with, but all results are reported as a group, never individually.
How long does it take?
About 12-15 minutes.
Who sees my responses?
Only approved Extension staff at UW-Madison Extension have access to responses. No other organizations involved in this project will see individual responses. Only summarized findings will be shared.
Will this affect my volunteer role?
No. Your answers will not affect your current or future volunteer opportunities in any way.
Who is behind this survey?
This survey is conducted by UW-Madison Extension Waupaca County, in collaboration with the Volunteer Waupaca Taskforce and Volunteer Fox Cities. All data is handled solely by UW-Madison Extension Waupaca County.

Who is this survey going to?
Adults 18+ who volunteer in structured or ongoing roles, including board and committee members.
What will my organization receive?
A volunteer profile snapshot, a summary of key findings, and a demographic trends and participation gap report specific to Waupaca County. Participating organizations will also be recognized in the final report.
