Social Joinery: Build Community, Spark Change

Looking to make a real difference in your community? Social Joinery is your chance to connect with others, share your ideas, and help shape the future of your community. This exclusive event combines dinner, a powerful documentary, and a live visual artist capturing the conversation in real-time—something you won’t want to miss!

What is Social Joinery?
Social Joinery is an opportunity for people to gather, share a meal, and have meaningful conversations about the future of our community. At the heart of the event is an exclusive screening of the documentary Join or Die, which explores the importance of civic engagement and community involvement.

The documentary follows the insights of Robert Putnam, author of Bowling Alone, and looks at how civic life has changed in America—and what we can do to rebuild it.

What to Expect

  • Watch an exclusive screening of the inspiring and award-winning documentary Join or Die.
  • Share a meal with fellow community members.
  • Engage in guided conversation about ways we can strengthen our community.
  • As we discuss the film, a live artist will create a visual summary of the conversation, creating a visual artifact that will continue to live on after the event.
